You might remember in our last Guardian Newsletter that we launched a very exciting social media competition – we asked our followers to share a picture of their amazing space using #AdHocSpaces to be in with a chance of winning £350 worth of high street vouchers or money off their license fee.

All the entries were amazing, as you can see here: #AdHocSpaces. After a long deliberation process the judges finally chose a winner – Lucy Owen from the North West! Lucy’s pictures showed an Ad Hoc Property unit that has been completely transformed to incorporate a sleeping, living, dining and office area.

Twitter was also where we hosted our #AdHocCreative activity – in the lead up to the world debut of No Worst, There is None at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, we were sharing the work of our creative Guardians – more of which you can find here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not only that, we received lots of fantastic compliments and praise for the project, even appearing in videos from The Guide Liverpool and The Liverpool Echo.

We celebrated the amazing achievement of Ad Hoc Property Management Managing Director Simon Finneran, who ran the London Marathon on the 24th April. Completing the course in 4 hours and 24 minutes, Simon raised money for the London Community Foundation Trust, who are dedicated to improving the lives of London’s most disadvantaged by tackling issues such as child poverty, unemployment, isolation, homelessness, domestic violence and gang crime.  

April saw the launch of our Respect for Guardians Charter, designed to safeguard the interests of Guardians and encourage best practice across the industry.  You can read more about the Respect for Guardians Charter here.

Over on Facebook we’ve been keeping you all up-to-date with the latest properties as they become available, giving you the best chance at finding your perfect home before anyone else!

Ad Hoc have also been featured in a range of newspapers, on the radio and even made some television appearances!  

And finally, we found out that one of our own Guardians had gone viral! Do you remember at the end of April when Heidi Joubert and Anna Guber were filmed jamming on the German underground? Well we bet you didn’t know that the talented cajon player Heidi is in fact an Ad Hoc Property Guardian! Check out the viral video on her YouTube channel here.
