“ In the Summer of 2015 an unoccupied 10 bedroom Care Home in a town in East Northumberland came into our possession. It was important that the building remained secure and in its current condition in order to maximise value.  To have a 24 hour manned security presence would be an extremely expensive option to consider therefore occupation of the property in some other form was the preferred alternative.

We contacted Ad Hoc Property Management to assist us with this with their Property Guardian scheme. Their highly professional team from the Newcastle office initially visited the site to ensure that it was a suitable building for people to live in. Following this they provided us with their proposal and within 10 days had a well-known member of the local community living there. 

With people living within the building and conducting their daily lives the very real risk of break-ins and vandalism was greatly diminished and the local Ad Hoc team acted on our behalf in a variety of ways.

When the property was eventually sold a few months later Ad Hoc managed to find alternative accommodation for all their Guardians and handed the property back to us in the same condition that they found it.

We have since used Ad Hoc on a number of projects and are extremely pleased with the service that has been provided“.
